Are you a veteran and an immigrant?

Hi,

My name is Victor Corral, and I am a Navy veteran (active duty from 2000-2005) originally from Mexico.

I am looking to interview other veterans that are foreign-born for a writing project that I am in the process of developing that will examine military service, immigration, and war from a personal perspective.

If that's you or someone you know, please let me know by replying to this thread.

Thank you for that suggestion Mr. Junger, I will certainly do that. And thank you for your film and your writing, particularly on this topic. As a young writer, I aspire to tell my own story with the clarity and resonance with which you have told yours.

I hope you make it out to the San Francisco Bay Area at some point, I'd love to attend one of your events.

Victor,

I would be willing to share my story. I was born in the Philippines and the US military is pretty much the only thing I've ever know since I was age 6...I'm 43 now and have deployed several times.
