Georgia-Pacific polluting, breaking Clean Water and Air Acts and killing poor blacks in Arkansas

I listened to A Death in Belmont by Sebastian Junger, a journalist who has written a terrific book on the Boston Stangler. He is better known for his books, Fire and The Perfect Storm.

 

I am gathering resources to oppose Georgia-Pacific's actions in Arkansas and Louisiana in order to find some legal recourse for the cancer victims in the following exposee. 

 

 

I think Junger might be the perfect vehicle to raise Georgia-Pacific's homegrown Love Canal to the front pages of the NY Times and get it into the New Yorker and if the congress changes, into a Congressional investigation.

 

He was graduated from Wesleyan, according to  the interview.  His comments on the history of black justice are parallel to those of Isabel Wilkerson in the Warmth of Other Suns, which I strongly recommend.
