Thanks for your kind thoughts. Our thoughts and prayers are with SSG Bivens' family today.  We should not rest until all of our Heroes return home!   I ran across the attached link that describes the role of Coast Guard SAR pilots in Vietnam.  They were part of an interservice exchange with the Air Force.  They were based in Da Nang during the war.  A couple of the Pilots (Eagan and Mixon) were freinds of my dad. It's a pretty interesting read.  http://uscgaviationhistory.aoptero.org/history06.html
