This is hard. This morning, three phone calls came in at once. My friend Tim Hetherington has died, while covering the war in Libya. The worst thing about being a writer is sometimes you have to pen elegies for your friends.

I attended the DVD launch in West Hollywood the other night. Tim,

crowd was mainly film auteurs, and there were several questions with a

potential political bias.
