Watching Junger on Meet the Press this morning was glorious! My respect for this guy just keeps growing! He totally put Congresswoman Lee in her place this morning as the panel discussed Afghanistan. She seemed completely speechless as he pointed out that more Afghani people died under the Taliban than during the war. I am all sorts of jacked up about seeing Restrepo and I just saw on Facebook that they are going to be doing a free screening at the National Geographic Society and a Q&A with Sebastian and Tim. I submitted my name and I hope I am chosen to attend. Anyone else planning to attend? I am so excited about seeing the events from the book unfold on the screen.
