Hello Kasia.
Would you please tell me something about yourself and the purpose of the Dogwoof organization.
Bare in mind that I'm 65 so be gentle. (;-)
My primary reason for joining Mr. Junger's community is to try to help returning 173d Airborne vets to deal with PTSD.

Hi Kasia,
I do have a few small stories to share with Dog woof if you think they might be interested in reading them. Here's an example in today's blog.

Kasia - I'm so sorry. I thought I had written you stating that Chantal had given her permission ...don't know how the ball was dropped.
At any rate, when I didn't see it on the Restrepodogwoof website I took the liberty of posting it there myself.
I'm very pleased with the response to her obvious talent. I think it will do her a lot of good.
Check out Kanani Fong’s website The Kitchen Dispatch. She did a real good job of presenting the poem.
Thank you for encouraging me to post these things but I'm kinda flying blind here. This site and the Restrepo site are dedicated to today’s soldiers and their magnificent courage. All I have to offer - to try and help with what I know is coming – is what I know of the ravages of PTSD.
I’m not a psychologist (in fact I only know of one psychologist who has combat experience – the one necessary ingredient needed to help) but I know how it has effected many of the members of my old unit.
My opinion is that one cannot learn this stuff out of a book. You have to pay the price of admission to know what’s going on.
I don't want to wear out my welcome on these websites so if anyone feels that my stuff is inappropriate or it's time for me to just shut-the -hell-up and toddle on out to the rest home, please let me know.
Thanks for the chat - Jim
