My name is Steven Kerns and I am trying to honor an American hero and friend. His name Sgt Israel Garcia was a paratrooper who sadly fell during the battle of Wanat, Afghanistan (13JULY2008, its mentioned in the movie Restrepo). He went to the same high-school as me (Long Beach Poly). Over the last 2 years I have been working for him to have a memorial made there, a bench more specifically.
