War and Captive
I recently read WAR and learned alot about what the young people are up against in Afghanistan. I appreciate the book yet it breaks my heart that these young men and women must live through such terror. Mr. Sebastian is an excellent writer. So looking for another exceptional book I found SJ Community and purchased Captive. Read it in three days (work got in the way) - omg, I wept for Mr.Van Dyk and the others who were trapped including Gulob and Rahaman. Are there speaking events in either Boston or Cape Cod on these books?

I'm a few chapters into CAPTIVE. I had to order INFIDEL by Tim Hetherington as there were no more copies at my Barnes and Noble. Read WAR after I saw RESTREPO twice. The book really should be read before seeing the film. You get the background insight into what happens in some of the scenes. You also get to "hear" how he felt about where he was and what the unit was doing. This was valuable to me.
